Naming and Funding Opportunities

Named Funds
You can make a gift to create a current-use fund to address immediate critical needs, or an endowed fund to provide resources in perpetuity. Both types of funds can provide support where it is needed most or be designated to a specific project. Named current-use funds can be established with a gift of $50,000 or more, while a gift of $500,000 or more can name an endowed fund.

United Way
Look for us in your United Way campaign brochure or on your company’s campaign website. If we are not listed, please write in FRAXA Research Foundation on your pledge card. Please include our IRS tax ID (04-3222167) and address (10 Prince Place, Suite 203, Newburyport, MA 01950).
Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
If you or a family member are 70½ or older with an IRA, you can transfer a Fragile X research gift directly without incurring tax consequences.
Life Income Gifts
Earn income for yourself or beneficiaries when you create a Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) or Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT) to benefit FRAXA.
You can also designate FRAXA as a full or partial beneficiary of your retirement, bank, or investment accounts. Simply contact your plan administrator to request a beneficiary designation form.
