We are delighted to share the success of the 37th annual charity golf tournament organized by the Hall family—Pete and David Hall, David’s sons Jake and Sam, and Jack Murphy, Pete’s son-in-law. This year marked the 17th year they have dedicated their tournament to supporting the FRAXA Research Foundation, raising over $35,000 to support Fragile X research!
Since beginning this incredible journey, the Hall brothers' efforts have contributed over $327,000 to FRAXA, driving forward research that brings us closer to a cure for Fragile X syndrome.
Golf Tournament Highlights
- GOLD sponsors Marybeth McInnis and Cathy Torrey with Team Giovanni, each contributing a generous $10,000!
- Kristin and Kevin Murphy from Bradford Country Club hosted an outstanding event.
- Jim and Lisa Lafond's incredible donation of two weeks at their St. Thomas condo helped raise $3,200.
- Brendan Sheehy and Dave Boucher from TSR Hockey and many others provided unwavering support.
The day was filled with fantastic prizes, including an overnight Red Sox package from Mike Jorgensen and Omni Hotels, a Treehouse Brewery gift package from Lisa Enaire, and a Winter Classic autographed photo from Bob Sweeney. The community’s spirit of generosity was evident throughout the event.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the Hall family, all the participants, donors, and volunteers. Your support is instrumental to our mission to find a cure for Fragile X syndrome. Together, we have funded $35 million research, making significant strides toward this crucial goal.
