Buildings, Bridges, and Monuments will Light Up FRAXA Teal on July 22, 2020
This year, on July 22, Fragile X Awareness Day, more than 60 buildings, bridges, monuments, and entire downtown regions will be illuminated in teal to spread the word about Fragile X and celebrate our community and the FRAXA researchers working hard to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Fragile X.
We are truly thankful for our volunteers who have been working to ensure that even more sites are lit up teal. Across the US and Canada last year, 21 landmarks were lit up in FRAXA teal. Although we cannot gather in groups this year, we encourage you to visit or drive by lighting displays and share your videos and photos on social media. Join the #TealTakeover! If you cannot attend a display, please follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
To make this year even more special, our friends at the Fragile X Association of Australia have almost 50 places lighting up in orange to celebrate the day!
